JSI's goal is a Justice System with at least a 20% reduction in today's 70% recidivism rate and a significant reduction of the estimated $6B in current annual operating cost to the state and municipalities

The new JSI community and technology-enabled justice system will:

Focus

Initally on a municipality or city, where there is a shared goal of lowering crime and recidivism. The expedition and sustaining community envolvement is at the forefront of the ever evolving Justice System transformation. 

 

Transform

Utilize a 501(C3) to raise and manage transformation funds, provide system and policy design and implementation expertise, and guide stakeholder engagement

Cost Effective

Become cost effective, reducing the current estimated taxpayer cost of $6 billion by at least 20%.

 

Represent

An efficient and scalable justice system that will:

- Reduce crime -

- Shrink recidivism rates - 

- Provide an infrastructure optimizing technology -

- Offer a national role model for justice system effectiveness -

Optimize existing technology-enabling State-of-the art processes and policies ensuring a cost effective and scalable justice system.

Implement and sustain policies and processes that ensures, attracts and retains the nation’s finest justice system professionals.


Threat and Crime Prevention and Mitigation  

Leverage technology, including situation awareness and predictive analytics, to anticipate, prevent and mitigate crimes or unacceptable behavior, and improve incident response.

Professional Development and Periodic Recertification

Ensure every justice system professional periodically executes a standardized, technology-enabled, professional development plan that leverages “gaming technology”, global lessons learned, and situation simulation.

 

Offender Development, Education, Engagement, Training, Reform, and Employment

Deploy adult development and life skills programs designed to make a difference in the offender's life, enable employment and curtail or eliminate any possible.
